SECTION II - HAZARDOUS INGREDIENTS

Materials:  Calcium Sulphate, colorants, Sodium Citrate, Sod. Tarterate


SECTION III - PHYSICAL DATA

Solubility in Water:  0.20 Percent

Specific Gravity:  2.70-3.00

Appearance and Odor:  White Odorless Powder


SECTION IV - FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARD DATA

Extinguishing Media:  Not Combustible


SECTION V - HEALTH HAZARD DATA

Threshold Limit Value:  15 mg/M3/(% Respirable quartz+2)

Particles may cause eye irritation. When mixed with water this material hardens and then slowly becomes hot. It may dry skin. Inhalation: Persons subjected to large amounts of this dust will be forced to leave the area because of nuisance conditions: coughing, sneezing and nasal irritation from dust.


SECTION VI - REACTIVITY DATA

Stability:  Stable

Incompatibility:  Acids

Hazardous decomposition Products:  Above 1450 degrees C - CaO ( Calcium Oxide ) and SO2 (Sulfur dioxide ).

Hazardous Polymerization: Will not occur.

SECTION VII - SPILL OR LEAK PROCEDURES

Spill Procedure:  Use dustless methods-vacuum and place into closable container for disposal, or flush with water. Do not dry sweep. Wear protective equipment specified below.

Waste Disposal Method:  This material can be disposed of as inert solid in a landfill or by other procedures which are accepted under federal, state, and local regulations.


SECTION VIII - SPECIAL PROTECTION INFORMATION

Ventilation:  Provide general ventilation and sufficient local exhaust to ventilation to meet TLV requirements. When dusty condition exists, wear an approved dust mask to guard against nuisance particles.

Protective Gloves:  Optional.

Eye Protection:  Protect from dust particles.

Respiratory Protection:  Use NIOSH approved dust mask respirator under appropriate OSHA standards and regulations.


SECTION IX - SHIPPING REGULATIONS FOR HAZARDOUS MATERIAL

Not D.O.T. regulated.


SECTION X - SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS

Use dustless or wet systems when handling and clean-up so that exposure does not exceed the Threshold Limit Value in Section V above. Practice good housekeeping, maintain ventilation system and post appropriate warning notices where product is used, stored and handled. Do not permit dust to collect on walls, floors, sills, ledges, machinery, or equipment. Maintain, clean and test respirators in accordance with OSHA regulations.
