For slow burnout and for investing in metal rings only

SPECIFICATIONS

CHROMECAST-XF is a micro-fine grained phosphate-bonded high-heat investment specially developed to cast partials in chrome-cobalt alloys. The models are made using special liquid to control expansion and provide a harder smoother model. The investing can be done by using water only or by using a small amount of special liquid to give the mold higher burnout strength and higher thermal expansion for added expansion control.

A finer grain material it offers the following outstanding properties:

  1. A creamier mix
  2. Longer working time
  3. Elimination of bubbles on the castings
  4. Most stable expansion characteristics with higher thermal expansion
  5. Excellent consistency from batch to batch

It can also be used for other castings in gold, palladium, platinum, and non-precious alloys when it is used with special liquid. The selective use of the special liquid provides controlled expansion required for other applications such as crown & bridge castings.
