CASTRITE-NP is a micro-fine high heat investment which was developed specially for non-precious alloys which have a very high casting shrinkage. Since this casting shrinkage varies widely among various brands, CASTRITE-NP was developed to have VERY high setting expansion. It is suitable for both nickel-chromium and non-nickel Cobalt-Chromium crown and bridge alloys.

CASTRITE-NP can also be used for gold alloys but at dilutions higher than those for STARVEST.

Just like STARVEST, CASTRITE-NP can also be placed in preheated oven for fast burnout procedures. Absolutely good for both ring and ring-less procedures.
